Should i quit the High school Football team?

Im a senior, and im not playing at all on the varsity football squad. iv put in my four years and i feel i could be a defensive line rotator and that i am good enough to. but at this time i am not on special teams or rotating on d. my coach told me yesterday i am going to be a role player (scout player i think) so i think that means im never going to play. should i just quit or stay? and im not an injury away from playing either. i also dont really want to play JV this year
