I need help with a poetry ysis of Kindling by Marilyn Dumont?

For a person to be writing about their mother this way is reprehensible, especially by a celebrated poet. She's just yzing her mother by her handwriting and doing so in a superior attitude that looks down on her. The speaker evidently has been mistreated by her mother, so her mother is looked at as being crude and unrefined. The mother's "i's" and "t's" she says are like broken twigs, like the small amount kindling her mother left for the speaker, which you can surmise is a metaphor for love.
