Decent series anyone?

Does anyone know any decent series like Gilmore girls or heroes or pushing daisies or the opposite (not the bedford diaries) that i could watch, cause all the English TV is crap and i want to watch something on veoh.com but i think I've watch all the half way decent stuff, so any suggestions on any series that are like any of the above (that might possibly include milo ventimiglia) could you please tell me, I'm desperate! I NEED TO ESCAPE REALITY!!!!
