What wall color goes with a cherry red floor and green furniture?

I am buying a house that has a dated den in it. The flooring is new and is a pretty cherry red linoleum that I love. The den has wall panelling though which dates the room. The furniture for the room will be green in color. I don't want to paint the panelling white. Would a warm lime green work best or warm blue? I want a color that I can use various shades of in the whole house so that it flows. Blue is my favorite color.
