Help! Trying to learn how to play Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu and failing >.<?

Only thing that I've heard is to learn each hand very, very, very well, until you can play them comfortably up to tempo perfectly. And then throw them together and pray. I tried it for one of his etudes and it worked alright.
